anyway. braces out, i can't wait to go back next wednesday for my next appointment cos i'm like so afraid that my front teeth might move out of place and expose that irritating gap that i so wanted to close badly.
and all thanks to 2 falls that in each occasion chipped my 2 front teeth, there're like 2 different colours u can see on my teeth due to the filling. argh. so irritating.

sometimes it just gets so sickening u know? when u're caught up in the middle of nowhere for the upteenth time. and u just can't seem to be goin anywhere with it. but u wanna wait and see if there's hope. so u put ur patience to test; again and again. but u don't dare ta rush the other party in fear that it might just end like that.

ACTUAL DAY!!!

i had fun. really did.
having the old bunch back together.
it's not the birthday that was important.
presents were a bonus.
it was the feeling of having everyone ( well, almost) sitting together, having dinner for 3 hours or so, talking crap, making fun of each other, taking pictures like we haven't for ages ( WHICH IS TRUE) and reminising the times in not only secondary school, but also primary.

a wonder how we've come so far. this bunch of us, from strangers in primary school although we studied in the same place til now.
AMAZING SHIT!!
i definetely can and want to see myself growing old with this bunch of people.

FINALLY was able to meet up with LOBSTER in the afternoon for a movie.
watched "License To Wed".
which movie? NEH... the one with Mandy Moore in it lor....
after the movie we were just so god damn lazy that we just decided to get a drink and settle down at the steps outside of Taka and chit chat.
went inside the mall a bit while we waited for Cher to come.
THEN after that, we went back outside to wait for IVYYYY~ ..hahaha

We present you with the best school in Singapore.
It provides you with an excess of everything you don't have to worry that you lack.
The air-conditioning is always in full blast from morning til night, if not more.
As all the buildings are linked together, even the corridor is indoor.
Which simply means MORE air-conditioning.

And you basically just pay your school fees to attend talks.
And we have the longest ever schooling time. From 8.30am in the morning to as late as 4.40/5pm. This is to make sure that your folks do not complain that you spent too little time in school.

With all these said, don't you think that you should put RP as your first choice for a polythecnic?

where the Nies had REAL FUN together in a long long time... =)
anyway, me and bin went to qin's house to surprise her in the evening.

you see, qin's birthday was on tuesday.
and being the bestest friends our darling airhead loves, the 2 of us decided not to wish her/talk to her at all in this week.
and when she thought she was sad enough that we haven't been meeting up for quite long, i cancelled my date with her for friday on thursday!!
AND SHE CRIED!!!

so this is where me and bin laugh like hyenas. HAHAHHAHAHAH!!!
thus on FRIDAY, we went to her house instead of her school which she expected we would, due to my airheadness. =/
and when she saw us in her bedroom, something like this:

the drinks are CHEAP MAN!!!!
we like ordered 1 beer, 2 magaritas, 1 long island, 1 tequilla shot and 1 martel for only around 66 bucks!!!!! now you see why this bar'll be our next favourite hang out place!!

my earphones died on me today, just when i needed them most.

ANYWAY, was supposed to meet Lobster and Ivy at tanah merah before going to the airport.
was going to send the band off.
but they were gonna be late so i decided to go to the airport first.
and that's when my earphones decided to turn suicidal and abandon me.
lucky enough, Dennis came to my rescue not long after i reach.
went walking around terminal 2 before we spotted the band outside.
so we just went out to meet them.
queued up with them to check in as bin and the others slowly arrived.

damn. i think i was flat. and out of tune here and there.
think it's cos i was too nervous. haha. my palms were like cold throughout the whole thing.
but it was real fun i guess. singing with the band at the patio in DXO.
especially with ron sitting beside me, and the rest of them playing and cheering for me.

nevertheless, i felt so nervous my hand was on the microphone all the time.

ok. let's backtrack a bit aye.

didn't go to school last friday.
went out with TK instead for a mini movie marathon.
met him early in the morning at bout 10.30am for our first movie of the day.

PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN- AT WORLD'S END.

it was great. lived up to it's name but i still don't like Orlando Bloom.
i still think he's gay. haha.
Chow Yun-Fat was good in it. and i had no idea why the potrayed Singapore so darkly.
I guess the only disappointing part is that throughout the whole movie, it was climax after climax, not much time for you to think back on what just happened.
and i had to hold my bladder like crazy.

next. bloody lame movie. with kids in school uniform and smell of sweat seating all around us, laughing like nobody's business and screaming at unnecessary parts when you just already know the guy's head won't be cut off by the bloody blade.
and i thought the movie wasn't worth watching.

i just so hate Hate HATE not being healthy.
especially when i'm down with STOMACH FLU.
and that doesn't seem to be enough to torture me. it HAD to be on the first day of my period too.

got it on monday night earlier this week and vomited my dinner. well, most of it.
bin accompanied me to the doctor the next day and then followed me back to my house to watch some vcds to past time.

i managed to get her out of the house without stealing any of my trinkies and belts.

felt so much better so i went to work on wednesday cos renee was having a fever.
decided to cover work for her since she'd probably be feeling so much worse then me.
was fun to work the FINAL time with darling amy. =)
yes i'd miss you.
the boss asked me to make more of my accessories cos he wants to take some to indoneisia along with the consignment clothes and all.

reason why? cos i don't have enough trinkies and ornaments to make that much accessories and i can't get much inspirations on what to do. =( HOW??

and i stupidly, mouth-itchyly went to eat BEE HOON GORENG : spicy and oily.
WHICH, i should not have even thought about eating.
AS A RESULT, i got awaken by the tremendous pain in my stomach at roughly 5pm in the bloody morning.
went to the toilet and lao sai like hell la!
once not enough. must twice.
after that, there was no more strength left throughout the whole body la.
gave up on going to school.

SO, i've missed another 2 days of lessons and 2 UTs!!!!!!

school has started. guess i wasn't as nervous as i was in year 1 sem 1 or 2.
maybe it's cos i've been through like 2 times of the changing-class-every-semester process already; so i at least know what to expect and how to react.

1st day of school late already. haha. met up with lydia and gang as usual before going to school.
shocked to see SOOOOO SO SO SO MANY year 1s.
i was like "OMG" when i first arrived at woodlands MRT station. the next thought i had was- "die. no need go for break already".
i hate crowds. and now, i'll be in one at least 5 days a week.
oh. wow. how exciting. =(

all in all i guess my class ain't that bad. people are easy to talk to and easy going.
BUT THE MODULES ARE SOOO BORING !!!!!
caught myself wondering why i even chose this course.
but then again, it was DIOM or IT.
( in case you have a lousy memory, DIOM= Diploma in Industrial Management)
the management part ain't that bad. the worst was statistics.
GOD I HATE STATISTICS!!!!
what dot plot, histogram, frequency distribution, box plot.....
BOX PLOT!!!!
that's like my greatest enemy among all.
it is so hateful. so complicated. so hard to understand.

went to Arab Street with TERENCE!!!!!

the dude heard from his friend that there were INTERESTING things to find there.
so i brought him there. which was my second visit.
went to stock up some of my accessories bits cos kelvin asked me to make somemore for the shop. and finally bought the right colour chain that i needed.
terence got hungry after a while so we ate at this famous indian-muslim shop that khalis introduced me at the junction of arab street.
they have GOOD roti prata and mutabak there. =B
and the boy confirmed with me by saying that the shop should give me commision for introducing the shop to him.
his reason being after i introduced him the shop, the shop will earn more then they used to.
HAHAHAHHA.

went on to explore Haji Lane after our late 2nd lunch.
and boy i tell you...
the place is fantastic!!!
they have local-design shops, pubs, bars, 2nd-hand shops and cafes!!!!!
and the best thing is that the place is actually quite secluded and quiet most of the time.
and the shops all have interesting interior designs. really inpressive as a matter of fact.
there's this 2nd-hand shop that sells well, 2nd-hand clothes at very cheap prices.
HOUSE OF JAPAN.
but it's Malays who are tending the shop. don't ask why. cos i have no idea.
from jeans to japanese bath ropes.
and the jeans are selling at 5 bucks!!! but u seriously have to dig la.
oh. and i finally bought a vest. since dunno how many donkey years i wanna get one already lor!

anyway. they sell really nice dresses that are imported from all over the world and some by local designers. oh. and the accessories that they sell are P.R.E.T.T.Y!!!

but the prices are a bit steep. for me at least.

dresses are sold from 300 bucks onwards.

accessories from 49 bucks.

bags and purses from 80 bucks i think.

we tried on a few dresses.

this is sooo vintage!!! so many colours!!!

with a low cut back. it made me look busty.

had a FANTA-BULOUS time!!!!!!=]

woke up at 7am- ok to be accurate,6.45am- and went to "sao mu" with my family.
so freaking early. non-stop yawning.
it has been like AGES since i've woke up so early.

it's the same cycle every year and just a few easy steps to take.

1. wake up damn early on a (mostly) sunday morning
2. sit in the father's car and rot til we reach
3. reach there, say hello to everybody (well, most of them anyway cos the others u have not EVER spoken to in my entire life)
4. pay respects to the ancestors
5. burn paper money, gold, etc..
6. stand around, make tiny conversations to some of the LONG-distanced relatives and wait for the paper things to finish burning
7. say bye bye and leave.

normally after that we'd just go home and sleep while the folks go to the market to replenish groceries for the week. instead, i suggested that we have Macdonald's breakfast before going home.

mother and father happily agreeded and therefore on our way to Mac at Singapore Post.

it has been SUUUCCCCCH a painfully long time since we've eaten Macdonald's breakfast together as a family. and i remember we used to have it at Lion City Hotel's Mac. which is by the way, now an extension of some slimming sanctury. stupid shop took away my fav place for slacking, eating and studying.

just THEN, i felt that we are a happy family. =3

anyway, went home after dropping by NTUC after breakfast. watched some tv and i went back to sleep a bit. had a long day ahead of me you see.

met teck kiang at bout 3.30pm.
such a long time since i've met him too.
he's slimmer-yes, tanner-yes, and pretty much the same-yes.
one thing i like about hanging out with him is that i never get bored.
topics one after another non-stop with laughs. =3
TK said he wanted to watch a movie before he flys to Taiwan 4am the next morning, so we watched "Shooter".

i really thought i might fall asleep watching the movie but it turned out otherwise.
the movie reminds me of the kind where when it's aired on Channel 5- no i dun have SCV- the whole family would sit around the TV watching in excitement.
and of course with the mother never failing to make sounds that means she's excited or scared; asking what happened and having me or the brother of the father OR the sister explaining to her who the real bad guy is.

in short, good movie.

TK accompanied me to Esplanade after that and waited for lay to come.
watched "THE PAHNTOM OF THE OPERA" with her.

HELLUVA FANTASTIC MUSICAL I SAY!!!

GO WATCH IT!!!!! BOOK THOSE BLOODY TICKETS NOW!!!!

we sat like 6 rows away from the stage in the stalls la!
almost perfect view.
not like the time when i watched Black Eyed Peas in concert.
couldn't take pictures in the theatre and there was this lady-usher who stands close and stares at people everytime she thinks they're taking pictures. =(

only picture i managed to sneak during the interval.
that's actually the stage curtains with the gold borders.
and the statues actually have like real dangling earrings on.
there was this humongous breath-taking chandelier which i wanted to take a picture of so badly but failed. =((((

since we couldnt take pictures IN the theater, we took it OUTSIDE.

went ta Zouk for its flea market with cherriann wong. =}
well. it's actually called the "Flea & Easy".

dumb dumb CHERRIANN WONG thought it'll like start in the morning.
so we actually took a cab down to Zouk at bout 12pm and realised that the flea market actually starts only at 2pm.
SO, we went for lunch and shopped around the ground floor of Great World City for like dunno how many times before it was 2pm.

i actually thought that i would end up not buying anything at all.
well, I WAS TOTALLY WRONG LA!!!

the place was like as packed as Mambo Night can??!!!!!!
had to squeeze like dunno what.
but i'm SUPER HAPPY with my findings today!!!
and they all fit so well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well. make that me and cherri. =]

yesterday was fun fun FUN!!!!!=]

rushed home after school for a change of clothes and washed up a bit before cabbing down ta Plaza Sing. with my 2 nie nies.

met the the guys outside some restaurant called Manhattan Fish.
they couldn't allow us to make reservations so we had to like wait for 2 freakin hours before we could settle down. after about 30 mins of waiting outside he restaurant, ZR finally came by with the bf. she was so suprised to see the whole bunch of us cos the plan for the day was to just hang out with the bf, joel, and meet us all for a celebration the next day!!

so all in all there were like 14 of us?
wait. let me think.

it's gonna be an eventful week for me.
ok. that line sounds wierd cos its already mid-week.
anyway, met cherriann wong FINALLY after what seemed like ages on monday.
went down town with after school.
it just feels so good to finally meet up. =]

and so i skipped school yesterday-wednesday after UT.
i swear i wanted to stay. but well, temptations temptations...
walked lydia to the Mrt station and waited for dev, chloe, james and friends at mac all alone.

i just realised something.
usually, i apply some blusher on my face before i go out in the fear of me looking pale and sick.
so when i get home to clean off my make-up with my trusty cleanser,
i realise that the blush that is left on my right cheek is more then my left cheek.
there's like almost no blush left on the left cheek.
and i was there wondering why.

went out with better half today. =]
so excited that i could like finally get out of the house and have fun!!

anyway. we went to Copthrone King Hotel.
wonderin why?
cos there was a sales there hosted by Female magazine.
the perfume sales is like crazy la.
but i guess it's been several days into the sales already cos there wasn't much stuff to buy left.
so we left empty handed and it was down to town next!

collected my pay at Far East and window shopped around before we went for our dinner at the famous chicken rice stall upstairs.

after 4 days of staying at home and missing school, i'm like FINALLY back at school!!!!!

it's like after 4 days and 1 night of being so totally sick you would know why.

could've went back to school on thursday. but my menses decided that well, since i have 2 VISITORS with me already, hey! why not join in the fun! 3's a crowd!!

and so i've been in town for like 4 days in a row.
2 days cos of work and another 2 shopping.
reminds me of the time when i was working at MNG.
but that was worse.
i practically lived in town.

so i tried somewhere different and nearer today.
went down to City Plaza with Wing and Liyana cos Wing needed to get a dress.
yes City Plaza.
the one that's near my house and is always infested with maids and foreign workers during Sundays.
we went in to EVERY SINGLE SHOP (i think).
the stuff there are mostly cheap la. having sales everywhere.

and we came across this pretty blue halter top which we thought was quite nice.
the main point is, that it's selling at only 5 BUCKS!!!
we went OMG SO CHEAP AH!!!
and we got one each.

tried it on just now and realised that the fit isn't too well.
oh wells. it's 5 bucks.
but with a bit of DIY fixing here and there it'll be just perfect! =]

and i saw this grey sling bag which is like SUPER NICE AND BIG!!!!
-which means i can bring it to school and dump my lappie inside.
so the price tag: only 35 BUCKS!!!
i was like "MUST HAVE AHHHH!!!!"
i got so excited la. think they'd probably sell it for like 40 bucks or more in Far East.
but for someone who has like only 50 bucks to survive on for the rest of the month, i asked the auntie if i could reserve it.
and she said i could for 1 MONTH!! but have to put deposit la.
and she was so nice to let me reserve it even with just 2 bucks as deposit.

the grand finale came when she took a new piece out and told me the price is 25 BUCKS!!!

anyway. we went upstairs where they were playing RnB.
it was just another space with all the day beds at both sides and a so-called "dancefloor" in the middle which was really the walk way.
so the place was being booked by our school. and so the DJs spinning that night are from our school's EMP.
but i'm sorry to say that they suck la.

had my 3rd dance performance at bukit panjang plaza yesterday.
happy happy.
even though i had to wake up super early to go to school at 6.30pm so that we can practice with the guys and had to literally ROT IN SCHOOL while waiting for lynn.
BUT ended up meeting aqila and azlinah to get to bukit panjang first instead.

took a bus to our destination from yishun bus interchange. and that was when i started feeling nervous after the WHOLE day.
slept during the whole bus ride which was like close to 30 min.

RP's jammer's arena started performing first. and that band is sooo much better than this other band which is also from jammer's arena called Montage.
wonder why they never performed in school.

QINNIE came down to support me.

skipped school yesterday.=]
went to see my lovely niece. haha. she's just toooooo adorable!!

like really.

she even went to take out that yellow bear that i gave her the other time when she heard that i was coming!!! and it's been a few months already la! she still remembers!
she's so sweet that i feel like EATING HER UP!!! HAHAHAHA.

went to The Oriental to meet Miss TOH LAY KOON.
A levels has finally returned her to meeeee!!!!! =]
we went to this Axes bar in the hotel itself for our dinner!!
and laylay treated me la!
felt a bit out of place there though cos the place is like so classy and full of ang mohs and those businessmen.
but the very moment we settled ourselves in the OH-SO-COMFY sofas..
that's it. NO MORE YI TAI ALREADY!!!
hahaha. like our home sia.

think i screwed up.
i believe i did well during practice and rehersals lah.
well at least better then the final performance~
think after seeing so many people under the stage i freaked out la.
like some kan chiong spider with all the legs -nua nua-.
oh wells. i'm gonna perfect it by 2nd december's performance.

and so i went home after the performance.
decided to walk out on my grp cos that mf was in it.
and i was too tired.

reached home, slept from 6-9pm, woke up had dinner, and went back to sleep at 10pm onwards til this morning. hahahhahaha.

i know pig. but this is how i detress. hahahha

HI PEOPLE!!!

ok. here's what i did yesterday.
i went off after 2nd meeting to meet my dearest cousin cos she had to clear her leave.
how nice and excuse for me to skip the oh-so boring science lesson.
went to visit MNG at shaw. Ann's like soooo pregnant! seven mths already!! can't wait for her to give birth. MNG's like so different now.
i only saw like 4 staff whom i know in the shop. plus the shop had just been renovated.

anyway. shopped around at far east with cous while waiting for qinnie to come.
and SHE WAS SO NICE THAT SHE DECIDED TO SPEND 30 BUCKS ON ME. hahaha. cos she saw how miserably broke i was la. i think that broke her heart. and so she bought me a new charm necklace and a pair of earings from FunDeco.
don't you just love her~
and yes.
i know i know. accessories again.
what to do.

went to watch STEP UP with qinnie after dinner. only the first row was available. and cous didn't bring her specs so she didn't join us for the movie.
but still quite alright la. could really see Channing Tatum's cute scar under his eye and his sexy BODEH~!!!
the movie was awesome la. although not much dancing. and the female lead's hot too. and so is that black girl. everybody's H.O.T.

i've found my inspiration to practise hard for my next performance already!!! hahaha.
and with that enthusiasim we deceided to pay a visit to DXO.
haha. i know i shouldnt. but well.
we missed the band.
and apparently they missed us too!
had a great time fooling around with Dia, Red and Tox.
Dia's a bad influence to qinnie.
Red TRIES to teach me CHA CHA.
and Tox has people thinking he's malay and thus starts to dance like one and made us all laugh like hell.
SEE. that's why i love the band. =]

i think without the band at DXO i wouldn't bother going to DXO.
maybe i wouldn't go clubbing that often either.
it'd be sad if they go.

oh right. i forgot to mention that i saw tall-tall in school yesterday.
haha.

sometimes i feel that i am very creative.
well. yea. sometimes.
and today so happened to be one of them. =]

maybe it's because i kept thinking happy thoughts.
i was walking back home from mrt station just now.
as usual. my baby accompanied me. but it kept playing emo songs la.
[sometimes they make me wonder why i have them in my baby]
so i just kept skipping the songs to groooov-eh dan-ceh songs that just makes you wanna bounce.

and i guess i really sorta bounced my way home~

anyway. before i start being random.
so after dinner, i felt the urge to cut the stap off my shoes.
you know, that "school shoe" that i have.
i have 3 of them actually.
first one's from dear cherri. funky blue.
bought the second one and drew on them. gold patterns.
I CALL THEM MY SMELLY-FEET SHOES.

and now this third one i actually wanted to keep them plain white.
but my hands get itchy when i get creative. so yea. cut off the strap that holds that sorta keeps your feet in the shoes.

AND THEN. smart me finds out that i ain't that smart cos they became loose without the straps.
however, innovation strikes and TA-DA~!!!

in case the pic's too dark, i actually got out stashes that i collected from MNG and *snip-snip*.
sewed them to the shoes.
realised that they resemble this pair of flats i so LOVED from NOVO but never bought.
and got even more excited that when i was doing the second side (left), i just totally forgot and sewed the stash the same side as the right side.
so it's like pointing inwards la. heh.
i can be such an airhead at times.
but yea. it's unique la. so i'm satisfied with it.
